Harry Styles is bringing all the sparkle of Love on Tour to Coventry, in May. So, as a couple of us from Crystal Parade are going to the concert, we just had to bling something to wear. We took some inspiration from the Watermelon Sugar music video and decided to make our own version of the heart shaped glasses. To bling these glasses, I used:Heart shaped sunglasses – I bought mine from Amazon.

The first thing I did was make sure that the glasses were clean and did not have any fingerprints on. Then I chose my crystal size, without comparing them both beside the glasses, I was unsure on which one to go for. I was torn between SS10 (3mm) and SS16 (4mm). Once I got them home and could measure, I preferred the look of the smaller crystals.

Next, I put some Gem Tac glue in to the syringe. I started by doing 4 or 5 beads of glue around the edge of the sunglasses. I found it easier to do it this way, so that the glue didn’t dry in between picking up crystals. I continued this all the way around the heart edges.

Overall, the crystallising of the sunglasses took me around half an hour. However, if you would prefer a quicker project, SS16 crystals would work great.

When your glasses have enough sparkle, we would recommend that you leave them to dry for 24 hours.I really enjoyed this bling project and can’t wait to wear them to the concert. We have also posted a video tutorial over on our TikTok page, so be sure to keep an eye out for that.
