We're always being asked 'how can I make my Irish Dance dress more sparkly?' or 'which rhinestones to use for an Irish Dance dress?' Well, you've come to the right place. Here we're going to discuss the best rhinestones for Irish Dance, and take a look at the rhinestone covered dress worn by Alice Gorrod, the U'15 All England Champion 2025.

We were approached by Alice's Mum, looking to bling up her Daughter's Irish Dance dress for the All England Championships, she needed advice on which rhinestones to use, as well as colour and size matching. Enter Crystal Parade.... we offer a free rhinestone matching service, which is ideal if you're unsure on the best crystals to use for your costume/dress. We can offer a range of colour and size options, as well as help choose a rhinestone brand to suit your budget.
For Alice's dress, we recommended Zodiac large AB sew on shapes to decorate the collar, cuffs and back of the dress. The AB colour offers a wonderful sparkle and the benefit of embellishing with sew on stones is that they cover more surface area, so you don't need to spend as much to get a huge sparkle.

We think you'll agree that the AB Peardrop's, Navette's and Rivoli's used to decorate Alice's dress looks stunning, especially against the dark velvet. She wanted to bring in a contrasting colour for the detail on the front and corset area, so we suggested Zodiac Vitrail Rose Peardrops, which is a hot pink large pear shape, which was glued and sewn onto the fabric.
