The Dolly Boards are an amazing tool for anyone that is wanting to decorate a stretch costume, including lycra, spandex, scuba, stretch velvet, if your fabric is 2 way or 4 way this is the ideal tool for you. The board enables the user to place the crystals, rhinestones, pearls and embellishments in a precise way without the hassle of them falling onto the floor or moving. The Dolly Boards work well with many different glues including E6000 glue, dont worry if the glue seeps through to the Dolly Board due the excellent quality of the MDF used to manufacture the Dolly Board it will not be damaged, your Dolly Board will last you years and years. With the Dolly Board you will be able to achieve more intricate designs when a leotard is stretched over the the board. Fabric paint such as Jacquard won't crack on the human body as it was applied to a stretched leotard in the first place.
The Dolly Board has a beautiful smooth finish and is lightweight with a handy carry handle (making it portable).
Another amazing thing the Dolly Board helps with is attaching a non stretch skirt to a stretch leotard. Simply stretch the waist area across the hips of the board (for maximum stretch) and attach the non stretch skirt….. (no more snapped stitches when the person trys on their new costume!)
And lastly, sewing appliques on is made so much easier because your needle hits the wood and not a mannequin or a cushion.
