What will e6000 stick to?
E6000 plus has exceptional adhesion to wood, metal, glass, fiberglass, ceramics, and concrete. It also adheres strongly to leather, rubber, vinyl and many plastics. E6000 dries clear and once cured it is waterproof, washer/dryer safe, paintable and safe for photographs.
What will remove e6000 glue off a crystal?
To remove E6000 plus from a crystal we suggest you apply acetone nail polish remover or naphtha spirits to the glue. Acetone and naphtha spirits are both solvents that will soften and start to dissolve E6000 bonds. Dampen a cloth with either of these liquids and apply it liberally to the glue on the crystal. We do not suggest that you use this method to remove the glued crystal from the surface you have applied it to as the surface may be damaged by the Acetone etc
How do I apply a crystal using E6000 plus
Soak a lint-free cloth in some water or an alcohol wipe and clean the surface if it is non porous, ie glass, plastic, resin. Apply a tiny dot of E6000 plus using a toothpick or one of our precision syringes. You do not want too much glue because it may ooze out from behind the crystal. Pick up your crystal using a jewel setter or crystal katana and place the crystal on top of the bead of glue.
Can I use glue on Hotfix crystals?
Yes you can. You can use E6000 plus or your favourite glue right on top of the hotfix adhesive as you would non-hotfix crystals.
Crystal Parade recommend that you clean the surfaces with alcohol wipes.
