When I first saw this mix, I immediately fell in LOVE with it, but couldn't for the life of me begin to think of a way that would just show off the true beauty of it. That was of course till I had a sit down and played around with different placements before I landed on this one! The crystals in this mix are PERFECT for so many placements with an array of flat back and pointy back crystals. I used most of the pointy backs from this mix for this placement and some pointy backs from the Dragons Fire Bumper Mix. The same design could have also been made using this mix alone too though, with a little extra gem glue, the flat backs would have sat PERFECTLY in the spaces around the pointy back Swarovski Heart. I cannot recommend this mix enough, the opals are gorgeous, the heart is beautiful, the navettes are incredible and the sheer amount of flat backs you get could last a handful of sets. I'm almost disappointed I didn't do another nail embellished in a flatback placement. I wanted to keep the crystal placement the centre of attention and so that I did! I genuinely cannot recommend this mix enough!
