Are you, like the rest of us, ready for some bright warm colour tones to be injected into your home and wardrobe? Pantone recently launched their 10 trending colours for Winter 2023, and we have the perfect crystal to match each and every one of them! From warm neutral shades to hot jewel tones, Pantone have curated this fabulous collection and we’re here to guide you to our matching Preciosa and Zodiac rhinestones.
Lava Falls – We love this warm vibrant red colour and it matches perfectly to Preciosa Red Flame. Why not add some sparkle to a Valentine’s Day card using this sexy shade.
Martini Olive – Preciosa’s Starlight Gold is the ideal non hotfix rhinestone to use for giving a luxurious expensive feel to your crystallized clothing or accessories. Try covering your phone case in this colour – it will certainly catch the eye!
Midnight Navy – You can’t go wrong with this timeless classic. Deep navy blue works for ballgowns, high heels, sophisticated nail art, so why not add some Crystal Parade sparkle with Montana rhinestones.
Nosegay – One of our absolute favourite’s this winter is this pretty pastel pink. It is perfect as a subtle icy pink tone and will slip easily into Spring sherbet themes. We suggest Light Rose to emulate this colour – another popular nail art crystal for the nail techs out there!
Caramel Café – This chocolate brown colour will definitely add warmth to your wardrobe. We like the Smoked Topaz crystal from Preciosa, which is the perfect colour choice for neutral nail art and animal print designs.
Watersprout – Another beautiful wintery pastel shade. Our range of Aqua Bohemica flatback and sew on stones are very popular at the moment, especially among Irish dance dressmakers. The piercing ocean blue colour adds a tropical vibe.
Orange Tiger – This bright, fiery orange is another favourite colour in the Irish dance world. Preciosa orange’s such as Sun and Hyacinth offer warmth, shining spectacularly on the stage, and Zodiac’s Tangerine Peardrop is a must have! Learn how to embellish an Irish dance dress on a budget, here.
Rose Violet – Possibly the hottest colour of the season, Rose Violet is close in colour to Pantone’s Colour of the Year, Viva Magenta. We’ve likened it to Fuchsia, a sexy vivid pink ideal for decorating a pair of killer heels or embellishing a latin dance dress.
Samoan Sun – This golden, sunshine yellow is a soft but vivid colour. We love the Blonde Flare and Light Topaz Preciosa crystals, which perfectly match it. The yellow colour shimmers with gold tones the longer you look at it, and this is very popular among theatre costume designers. Amazon – Finally we have the gorgeous Emerald green colour, which we adore! This deep rich jewel tone is often found encrusted on Irish dance dresses & tiaras as well as costume jewellery. Add some Emerald Rivoli sew on stones to your ballgown or prom dress to make a statement on the dancefloor! Read our guide on how to rhinestone a dance costume here.
