It’s been a busy and fast paced run up to Easter for the team at Crystal Parade. The first quarter of the year has been full of interesting and exciting projects. The most recent and definitely the most notable has seen the team working with the world renowned cake artist, Emma Jayne Cake Design. Recreating a Mak Tumang stunning designer gown is no easy task.
Crystal Parade was drafted to help replicate the stunning Mak Tumang designer gown. As part of the Wedding Gowns Through the Decades at Cake International, the even was held at Alexandra Palace last weekend!
Emma Jayne commented: ‘Crystal Parade has been an important part of making Mak Tumang's wonderful dress design magical. Thousands of Preciosa crystals applied to give it a beautiful glimmer. I simply cannot thank all at Crystal Parade enough’
MAK TUMANG
The stunning replica bridal gown which popped and sparkled as the main centre piece in the exhibition, was floor mounted on a full length rectangular mirror. It created quite a stir as visitors and exhibitors looked on in amazement. The gray-and-pink organza ball gown features stunning floral appliqués throughout the bodice and skirt, delicately embellished with Preciosa crystals. They were all applied individually by hand.
